Legrand - Regional Commercial Manager

Key Focus:

The primary focus of this role is to manage the complete regional backend processes like order management process, financial and accounting process, inventory and warehouse management, statutory compliances and office administration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and implement all regional processes of order management, finance and accounts, inventory and warehouse management within the organizational framework.

- Implement effective order management process as per the desired service level.

- Ensure error free order processing with a special focus on pricing and schemes.

- Organize effective delivery process which takes care of proper packing; accuracy as per invoice; cycle counts, etc.

- Efficiently plan the deliveries so as to optimize on transportation costs without adversely impacting the service levels.

- Manage SKU wise inventories at the warehouse as per the FIFO method and ABC classification.

- Process correct orders with respect to priority and schemes.

- Ensure effective supply and warehouse management by ensuring proper packing, accurate invoicing, proper inventory management (FIFO), classifying SKU's and ABC.

- Ensure effective receivables and collections by controlling debtors- collection length of credit, tracing bad debts with help of debit and credit notes.

- Monitor whether there is correct entries of C form.

- Ensure time to time payments of excise duty, service tax, professional tax and VAT.

- Manage expenses by monitoring bills payable and claims reimbursement.

- Control DSO (duty sales outstanding) within 45 days of range.

- Standardize all sales report for every region of the country.

- Ensure complete financial security through proper checks and regular audits.

- To ensure effective supervision on various warehouse activities and material management.

- Attend and face all government inspections and audits of central excise and service tax.
