Job Role : Product Manager - Marketing
Designation/Title : Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/ Manager
Key Focus :
This role is responsible for the complete LMS product life cycle management of a product line, developing new products, customizing group products as per market needs and executing product strategy as planned.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage the complete product life cycle of existing product lines and ensure product profitability as per defined targets.
- Develop the product positioning strategy with respect to - market segment, customer categories, pricing, competition, etc.
- Gather market intelligence, track sales, forecast demand and prepare business plan for product line.
- Prepare budgets and long range plans (LRPs) for the product portfolio.
- Work with finance team to analyze FOREX rate fluctuations and align pricing and budgets accordingly.
- Deliver product trainings to sales team and channel partners.
- Support the sales team to run branding and promotion schemes by providing relevant data.
- Work closely with the marketing communications team to develop the MARCOM strategy.
New products:
- Co-ordinate with the Legrand group product team in Europe.
- Design and develop product launch strategies.
- Work with R&D team for technical feasibilities.
- Pricing, branding and promotions.
- Work with sales team for promotions, product training and client interactions.
- Handle technical queries and support sales, channel partners and clients.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience :
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (BE), preferably in Electronics
- Post-graduate diploma/degree in business management with specialization in sales/marketing
- Relevant work experience of 4-6 years
- Highly proficient in using MS-Office applications like excel, word and power-point
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Should be able handle stressful business situations and remain calm under pressure
