Educational Qualification:  Essential: Degree in law from a university/institute recognized by the bar council of India.  Desirable: LLM degree from a recognized institution/university.  Experience :Specialization in Intellectual Property  Desirable Skill Sets:  1. Experience in progressively responsible professional experience in intellectual property law in the public sectors.  2. Experience in IPR legislations.  3. Integrity, tact and diplomacy as well as excellent negotiating, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective partnerships and working relations in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.  Job Responsibilities:  1. Should be responsible for executing business strategies with the heads of different departments.  2. An overall responsibility and accountability for providing leadership in long-range planning, program development, problem solving, and staff development in an administrative department.  3. Developing, administering, and managing budgets.  4. Ability/capacity to undertake travel in India and if needed abroad.  5. To take forward the objectives of the National IPR policy especially creation of awareness, commercialization, generation of IPs and Administration.  6. Any other responsibility that may be assigned.
