Job Description:
- Negotiation of contracts with the external clients in legal perspective for its closure and help the business in the execution of the same.
- Ensure delivery of legal advice relating to the business operations and also in framing/ review of policies and process.
- Advise and assist Compliance and Risk on both ongoing legal risks and anticipate on new legal risks, arising by virtue of new laws or regulations.
- Assist Service Quality Dept., to resolve customer complaints/grievances and draft necessary reply to the complaints if required.
- Assist Risk Based Supervision Committee to support risk management and mitigation
- Adhere to timelines in reviewing and vetting all official communications & documentation such as contracts, agreements, and settlements.
- Monitor the timeliness of submission of reports/statements to government authorities.
- Maintain a database on Applicable laws comprising FAQs, dos & donuts as a ready reference.
- Keeping a track on the latest laws and banking related Acts and proactively advise the management and business about such amendments and its implication on business and to suggest changes in process/procedure in line with the amendments through circulars/guidelines.
