Legal Role - Private Equity/Venture Capital/M&A - LLB/LLM (3-8 yrs)

Job Responsibilities:

- Candidate will provide critical legal support in structuring, negotiating, and executing complex transactions

- Collaborate with clients to structure and execute a wide range of transactions, including PE investments, VC funding, and M&A deals

- Conduct thorough legal due diligence, identifying risks and providing solutions to ensure successful transactions

- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction-related contracts, including investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and M&A documents

- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations, ensuring that all transactions comply with legal requirements

- Advise clients on fund formation, governance, and compliance matters for PE and VC funds

- Provide ongoing legal support for portfolio companies, addressing governance and contractual issues

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and compliance, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients

Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized university

- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in the PE, VC fund, and M&A transactions

- Strong knowledge of Indian laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to investment funds, asset management, and SEBI regulations

- Ability to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical solutions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

- Strong drafting skills and experience in drafting transactional documents

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
