Legal Role - LLB + CS - BFS (5-8 yrs)

Role :

1. Advising upon, negotiating and drafting client contracts/heads of agreement

2. Advising upon, negotiating and drafting Supplier Agreements

3. Advising upon, negotiating and drafting "Corporate Agreements"

4. Commercial Influence

5. Provide general legal advice (internally)

6. Assist in the implementation of standard contracts and policies across the International business

7. Compliance and Company Secretarial

8. Liaison with external legal advisors

9. Communication

- Qualified lawyer (5-8 years PQE preferred)

- Ideally a graduate of one of the Government Law College, Mumbai, National Law School Bangalore, National Law School of Hyderabad or the National Law School of Kolkata

- Significant experience of a commercial legal environment (either in private practice or "in-house" in a large multi national)

- Sound knowledge of Information Technology Act 2000, contract law and IT/computer contracts essential

- Experience of drafting complex contracts to tight deadlines

- Significant experience of general commercial law

- Experience of dealing with senior management to Board level

- Significant involvement in commercial negotiation of major agreements

- Experience of cross-border contracts preferred but not essential

- Knowledge of banking industry and pertinent legislation including (i) Credit Information Companies (Regulations) Act and Reserve Bank of India regulations, guidelines, policies and process;

- Familiarity with Indian Companies Act 1956 and related rules and regulations

Compensation : 15-20 L
