Legal Professional - Investment Funds / Asset Management / SEBI Regulatory


Job Responsibilities:


- Provide legal advice and support to clients in the Investment funds such as AIF, MF, Asset management, and SEBI regulatory sectors

- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to investment funds and asset management activities

- Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to investment funds and SEBI regulations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, finance, and operations, to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management

- Assist in the preparation and filing of regulatory documents with SEBI and other relevant authorities

- Monitor and stay updated on legal and regulatory developments impacting investment funds, asset management, and SEBI regulations

- Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and discussions related to investment fund structures, compliance, and regulatory matters

- Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources and training materials

Job Requirements:

Education: Graduate / Post Graduate in Law from a recognized university

- 0-5 years of post-qualification experience in the Investments Funds, Asset Management & SEBI Regulatory practice area

- Strong knowledge of Indian laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to investment funds, asset management, and SEBI regulations

- Ability to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical solutions

- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

- Strong drafting skills and experience in drafting transactional documents

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills

- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
