Legal Manager - Retail Liabilities Vertical - Banking

Legal support for:

- Branch banking and operations;

- Retail products liability side;

- Retail litigation liability side;

- Para-banking activities of the bank.

- Coordinating with various external counsels for western and southern region of India and other regions (as applicable).

- Defending the bank, its directors, officers and employees for complaints, suits, criminal actions filed against them and/or the bank at various legal forums.

- Training and development of departments members, customers of the legal department as well as oneself.

- Preparation and maintenance of litigation updates and regular reporting internally with respect to litigation matters

- To provide legal assistance in all branch banking matters, retail liability matters both from the product side as well as retail liability related litigation and dispute resolution.
