Job Title : Manager- Legal

Job Location : Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat

Job Description :

Systematically manage the legal matters, co ordinate with advocates and appear before appropriate authority and present legal case with statutory authorities.

Formal prerequisites for the position

Education : Any Graduate preferably commerce with post graduation in LAW

Experience : 8 to 12 years

Relevant Experience : Strong labour laws exposure / good grip on Industrial relationship

Tasks

- Attending legal /Court matters (Civil / Labour /High courts)and appearance before Conciliation authorities pertains to company and Co-ordinate with advocates in terms of documents submissions and providing inputs leading merit of cases and preparing contingent liability.

- Absenteeism analysis for Regular employees and taking forward to output of initiating disciplinary actions drafting various disciplinary action letters for defaulters on various grounds( charge sheets / show cause notice)

- Legal Compliances under various labour laws / attending various statutory inspection from relevant labour authorities.

- Command over Gujarati language is essential and drafting skills for various agreements and settlement

- Generating MIS reports of court cases and update on time to time about key cases with proactive approach

- Legal Compliances/filing up returns under various labour laws / attending various statutory inspection from relevant labour authorities.
