Legal Head - IT Product Firm (15-25 yrs)
About Client : IT Product MNC
Role : Legal Head
- Experience of 15+ years in Legal domain.
- Looking for a highly qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of business.
- Lead and manage all legal affairs and provide transactional advisories for all strategic business engagements.
- Advises management on the legal / ethical aspects arising from day-to-day business activities and/or within a specialty area of legal practice such human resources related issues. Assist with negotiations / communications with customers, external government agencies / representatives, outside counsel, etc
- Reviewing and drafting of company policies and supporting in enforcement of company directives
- Supporting the Ethics committee in driving a robust culture of governance and compliance, conducting investigations and making recommendations.
- Provide Legal advice and transactional support to business and Extensive experience in analysing, responding to regulatory and compliance matters.
- Excellent ability to analyse and assess business processes, spot issues and propose/implement solutions.
- Strong legal and business judgment.
- Able to assess broader and deeper impact of decisions. Focuses on what is right for the company not just what is best for the group, project or self. Does not act in ways that sub-optimize for the overall business. When possible, encourages cross-functional and cross business brainstorming and project teaming.
- Conducting various in-house compliance audits of other departments and providing training to various in-house teams.
