Legal Head - Corporate Commercial - Bank (10-18 yrs)

The candidate will provide in-depth support, advice, and training from both an offshoring and India perspective

- It is a great opportunity for a driven, motivated and energetic candidate to manage and expand (and grow the business currently comprising) a team of 10 lawyers providing legal support to India and the globe

- The role is strategic, offering the right candidate the ability to drive a growing corporate legal team; covering the Americas, EMEA, AeJ, and India; across a number of corporate legal disciplines

- The candidate will be exposed to a cross-section of lawyers, and stakeholders, from across the globe - which will support the candidate's profile development and exposure across the firm

- The role provides hands-on experience in managing a growing team of about 10, budgets, presentations, and general administrative tasks, to ensure smooth operations

- Identifying and rolling out technology initiatives to cost save and risk mitigate

- The candidate should possess at least 10 years- experience - corporate legal experience would be beneficial but not compulsory

Some examples of work include advising on, training, preparing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including:

- Sale and purchase of goods and/or services;

- Service agreements and maintenance contracts;

- Information technology and e-commerce related agreements;

- Telecommunications;

- Trading systems agreements;

- Trade coordination agreements;

- Specialized consultancy agreements;

- Marketing and sponsorship campaign agreements;

- Events contracts;

- Confidentiality agreements;

- Assured shorthold tenancy agreements;

- Travel agreements; and

- Logistics agreements.
