Legal Executive With MNC Manufacturing @ Mumbai

Qualifications:

Degree in Law from a recognised University, Desired- LLM in specific area

Experience Purpose of Job:

- 3 to 5 years work experience with a recognised law firm

- Provide commercially relevant, practical and pro-active Legal services to the Company

Drafting

- Prepare, negotiate and review legal agreements governing commercial relationships with third parties with whom the Company has dealings

Litigation

- Manage and conduct litigation involving the Company (including recoveries, general commercial, intellectual property litigation, prosecution, consumer liability etc.)

IPR

- Manage and safeguard the Trade Marks and Group Patents in conjunction with Corporate Intellectual Property Department

- Conduct raids on duplicates, look a likes and infringers with the help of agency

Liasoning

- Manage correspondence with Regulatory and other Governmental Authorities in connection with the Company's business in order to maintain cordial and business

Legal Support

- Provide timely legal support to the Distribution, Supply and Logistics functions and manufacturing units

- Estate and Property documentation

- Manage documents related to land, adjudication of stamp duty applicable on the deeds Draft the lease deeds, leave & license, sale deeds, MOUs

Advisory

- Advise the plants and OPC's on issues relating to new amendments of Legal Metrology Act

- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations

- Verify that business processes are fully aligned with corporate compliance policies

- Assist in the dissemination and implementation of group policies and foster a compliance and ethical culture

Functional Competence:

- Robust knowledge of local law and regulations

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey legal advice and documentation in a commercially sound and relevant manner
