Legal Counsel - LLB - Product/Technology Business

Job Summary: Legal Counsel in a leading product/ technology giant - to support their business, activities and process in India.

Key Qualifications:

- Qualified LL.B with 6-10 years' experience in a law firm or as in-house legal counsel

- Behaviors: Initiative, flexibility and ability to adapt different types of cross-functional business requirement in short time frame

- Good understanding of Business ethics, compliance and conduct

- Expertise on legal counsel for channel partners, services and commercial segment

- Ability to multi-task and effectively handle conflict/ stressful situations

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collegial team with some supervision, within company guidelines and policies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Description :

- This role will report into the Country General Counsel in the provision of general legal, commercial legal and regulatory matters across designated business and support function verticals.

- Negotiation, drafting, review and amendment of channel and distribution contracts

- Review and negotiation of procurement transactions and contracts

- Assist the local sales business and cross functional team on legal and regulatory matters

- Occasional to frequent travel (within and outside of India) will be required
