Legal Counsel - B2B/Food Tech - LLB (6-10 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Drafting and reviewing agreements, policies and standard operating processes relating to, amongst others, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, services, marketing, advertising, IT, real estate, sales and others.

- Thorough understanding of contract management and overall compliance measures specifically related to the industry that the company operates in.

- Own and manage litigations that might arise across any of the operating locations or business areas of the company and put a framework in place to avoid recurrence of the same in the future.

- Oversee the legal aspects of all M&A and other transactions that the company undertakes both within the country and outside.

- Oversee and advice on complex transactions with multiple external entities that would need corporate restructuring and other requirements on legal and compliance matters.

- Proactively provide legal opinion as needed, conduct legal research and where necessary, work with outside counsel for advice on complex matters and local laws/regulations

The Successful Applicant

- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and managing ambiguity and constant business and strategy changes.

- LL.B. with 6-10 years' experience in Legal, Banking, NBFCs, Contracts, FSSAI and other Statutory Compliances. Company Secretary qualification would be added advantage

- Should have exposure to handling corporate legal matters and hands-on experience in managing litigations and drafting various kinds of legal agreements/ business contracts

- Strong organization and analytical skills. Attention to detail
