Legal Associate - Global Development   The role of the Corporate Legal and M&A will be primarily responsible for supporting the Deal Origination team in the drafting and negotiation of transaction agreements for developing client's projects in India.   This position is a part of the Global Development Initiative at the Group level exclusively working to create the pipeline for sales and for developing new Projects in India. The position reports to the Director - Global Development India and would have a dotted line reporting to the Global Development Legal Head at HQ.  Responsibilities:  - Due diligence of SPV's/Companies with whom client would like to enter into transactional agreements for developing wind energy projects in India  - Drafting, negotiation and execution drafting of all relevant and necessary agreements for the acquisition of companies, firms in various stages of project development including Shares Purchase Agreements, and Shareholders Agreements, Service Agreements etc.  - Acquisition of private, government, forces  - Drafting, negotiation and execution drafting of Development Services Agreement  - Coordination with external lawyers and Group Legal Department.  - All other necessary activities to bring a brownfield/greenfield project as ready for construction and support of infrastructure during construction.  Qualifications:  - Degree in Law from Institute of repute like National Law School of India with 8 - 12 years of experience in Corporate Legal, infrastructure and M&A.   - Experience in the Energy sector, especially in Renewable Energy sector, will be an added advantage.   - Excellent negotiation skills  - Good understanding of Companies Act, contract law, contract drafting, licensing and IPR  - Excellent contract review and drafting skills   - Ability to manage high workload volumes  - Expertise in negotiation techniques
