Legal Advisor - FMCG/Retail/Real Estate/BFSI (4-8 yrs)
Main Responsibilities :
- Drafting and vetting legal documents such as Memorandum of Understanding, Lease Deeds, Leave and License Agreement, Service Agreements, Transport Agreements, Equipment Purchase/ Rent Agreements, Maintenance Agreements etc.
- Managing intellectual property issues including registration, litigation and assist in conducting local search pertaining to trade marks in India and other countries.
- Conducting property due diligence of the properties, highlighting quantum of legal risk involved in the project properties on a case-to-case basis.
- Drafting and vetting legal notices, affidavits, appeals,revision applications, various civil suits, money matters, complaints.
- Handling litigation matters of the company interacting and coordinating with various divisions of the company in relation thereto
- Liaising, briefing and interacting with the counsels over legal cases pending in various courts.
- Finalising terms & conditions of agreements, settlement agreement; performing analysis to ensure that contracts are within negotiated & agreed-upon parameters & drafting agreements.
- Structure drafting and inspecting the Agreements and other legal documents along with the preparation of Suits,Complaints & Legal Notice, Petitions, Appeals, Written Statements, Rejoinder and Arguments.
- Handling all legal matters and instituting system and legal practices to secure the best interests of the company, filing cases in their proper jurisdiction and issuance of notice
- Conducting extensive research work ad finding case laws, handling procedural aspects in various courts, interacting with advocates/solicitors, briefing, giving them instructions and preparing them for trails.
- Providing advice on general issues relating to Company Law, Real Estate and Civil Cases
