Learning Management Specialist (2-6 yrs)

Position Summary: Learning Management specialist responsible for the execution and maintenance of our global learning matrix. Cross-Functional global support including response and resolution to Learning Management inquiries, support and problem-solving. Maintenance of our learning matrix that identifies a global library of required training across position titles and functional teams. Subject matter expert in the configuration of the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure functionality, relevance and efficiency. Partners with subject matter experts across global functions to guide the creation of company specific eLearning. Ensures learning record keeping and reporting is maintained and accurate.

- Serve as a professional member of the Human Resource and Talent Development teams contributing both ideas and expertise in the development of relevant, world-class training and development efforts.

- Lead the configuration and maintenance of the global learning management system (LMS).

- Create and configure reports, develop standard LMS operational procedures, prepare work instructions, consult on system architecture, upload and push out new learning activities, automate notifications, and analyze usage data.

- Maintain our Global Learning Matrix to ensure documentation of required learnings by defined user attributes within our HR Management System, as set by subject matter experts and approved by the Director.

- Provide end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, and technology request assistance. Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.

- Develop and maintain eLearning templates in alignment with internal branding standards.

- Obtain and collect learning content and embed assessments into learning when required.

- Create and deliver training to HR representatives and other company leadership on the LMS and other manager tools within the administrative portal.

- Optimize the internal training library consisting of both internally and externally developed content.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to conduct needs analysis, partner to create virtual learning learning solutions, and provide consultation regarding the LMS and other system functionality to achieve expected outcomes.

- Communicate effectively with local and international stakeholders at all levels in the organization.

- Drive other projects or initiatives related to Talent Development and learning at Shape not specifically outlined in this position description as directed by the leader.

- Identify and train a back-up(s) to manage key tasks when absent.

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

- Professional (Advanced) Fluency in the English language.

- Bachelor's degree required with preferred emphasis in Business, Workforce Learning, Human Resources, or Instructional Design.

- 3-5 years experience with learning management systems.

- Advanced proficiency with learning management systems (ADP preferred) and other educational technologies.

- Advanced proficiency with eLearning authoring tool Articulate 360 Storyline.

- Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, xAPI and WCAG.

- Strong knowledge of creative publishing software such as InDesign (preferred), Photoshop, Illustrator and Camtasia.

- Proficient in systems integration, preferably Human Resource Management Systems.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.

- Advanced data management knowledge in the areas of reporting and analytics.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of a global organization.

- Prior experience developing curriculum (using the ADDIE or SAM methodologies) and delivering training preferred.
