Role: Learning & Development Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY

Job Purpose: As a Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist you will design and deliver learning solutions that harness current L&D trends and technological solutions, which contribute to the overall People and Operational strategic plans.

As an engaging communicator with a creative flair, the L&D Specialist will create engaging learning programs supporting each key stage of the employee journey.

The L&D Specialist will be a Salesforce pro.

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will:

- Provide consultancy and project management to a range of learning interventions including scoping, planning, stakeholder engagement, delivery/implementation and evaluation.

- Partner with senior leadership, sales, marketing and operational teams to understand L&D needs and agree on priority capability gaps.

- Plan, design and deliver a cohesive L&D proposition through consistent and blended solutions

- Overseeing the module creation of e-learning journeys to ensure that the Learning Experience Platform (myTrailhead) is fully utilized to support career progression

- Working in collaboration with SMEs to create training plans to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviors of our workforce.

- Active use of data analytics and effective reporting of L&D and analysis of performance as required.

- Understand business needs, collaborate with the business to identify and agree learning needs and priorities aligned to business requirements and intelligence

- Deliver solutions that promote and develop Manager capability and effectiveness (coaching, facilitating and delivering workshops)

- Support group-wide learning initiatives, driving awareness of internal development programs.

- Assist with the roll-out of new modules, organization of pilot groups etc.

- Responsible for advocating professional development, including acting as point of contact for information, reviews of policy and support provisions.

KEY ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Experience as a Learning & Development Partner or equivalent, working within the HR function

- Proven experience in learning and development: identifying training needs and providing solutions in a fast-paced service orientated environment

- Experience in the design, delivery, and management of learning interventions

- Awareness of the apprenticeship levy and experience in apprenticeships; delivery or overseeing apprenticeship programs

- Proven implementation of blended learning, including the use of digital learning

- Digital thinker, confident in implementing digital learning solutions

- Passion for Learning and Development and personal development

- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential Desirable

Qualifications & Education

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Operations, Marketing, English, Journalism, Web Design or relevant field

- myTrailhead experience (> 1 year)

- Teaching or Coaching credentials

Knowledge/Skills Knowledge

- Salesforce experience is essential and non-negotiable

- Exceptional proof reading and editorial skills, including content generation

- Strong understanding of learning process and how to identify and speak to key success metrics

- Experience implementing and managing learning and development programs

- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity while managing multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.

- Passion and commitment for customer success

- Critical thinker with excellent judgment, decision-making and strong initiative

- Proficiency in analytics and working with marketing data

- Editing and copywriting experience

Experience - Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter or similar role

- Portfolio of work to show

- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems

- Excellent writing and editing skills in English

- Time-management skills

- Experience on an LXP learning experience platform
