Founder Profile

Arnav Kumar is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. Leap is his second company and he has raised more than $30M in capital for his startups. In his last role, he was a VC investor with SAIF Partners (Now Elevation Capital), which is an early investor in paytm, meesho, urban company, unacademy and many other unicorns. He thinks and tweets about Product, Business Models and Company Building.

Vaibhav Singh is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur. He spent his first 6 years at DeutscheBank, across Singapore & Sydney to manage a $3Bn flow book. He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience (edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design)

Role and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for planning, executing and maintaining performance marketing campaigns across channels - Facebook, Google SEM, Display, YT & UAC for both app and web funnels.

Track the funnel performance and take steps proactively to fix leakages & breakages on a day to day basis.

- Work and coordinate with cross functional teams across domains to lead and close marketing initiatives.

- Competitive analysis to explore interesting trends, marketing strategies, tactics, and channels to drive acquisition with a hypothesis-> test ->and measure mind-set.

- Analysis of performance marketing efforts & reporting of key insights, learnings & misses once campaigns are over.

- Work and coordinate with the Creative team to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.

The best candidates will check all OR many of these boxes :

- Performance marketing experience of 3-6 years in high growth internet startups and well regarded agencies.

- Experienced in all parts of the marketing optimisation - right from figuring the messaging, working with the creative team to get creatives right, running campaigns and analytics

- Broad-based exposure to different ad platforms, campaign options and other optimisation nuances

- Experience in building/ managing a marketing team will be a big plus

- A combination of analytical and creative thinking, with strong data interpretation skills for channel specific metrics and KPIs (CPA, CPL, CAC, etc.)

- A good understanding of Analytics (Google Analytics, Branch & Hotjar), and a strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, graphs, formulas, cohorts etc.). Experience in CRM (Salesforce. LSQ, Zoho), Retention (Webengage & Clevertap), Datastudio and GTM would be a plus.

- Quick learner, highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative with an ability to work cross-functionally.
