Who we are :

We are an IIT Bombay startup building an amazing hardware electronic product which analyzes how users consume electricity and provide insights where all wastage is happening and try to reduce it. In order to do so we deploy our hardware which is packed with six sensors and energy monitoring device. The amount of data we get is tremendous and the possibilities to make use of this data are infinite. Right now we are focused on optimizing power usage.

The entire team is from IIT Bombay who have worked in Siemens, Goldman Sachs, Co-founded Housing.com etc. We offer the toughest problems to solve, a fabulous product to work on and better than industry standard remunerations but we are very selective to ensure only the best of the brains get to work on this product.

Description:

- Product Managers are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from writing specifications, working across multi-disciplinary teams: design, art, and engineering to launch core features within our existing product. They must exhibit sound product judgment, ability to formulate product strategy and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals.

- In addition, they will also be expected to provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics. Above all, we want Product Managers who are highly passionate about creating the best experience for our users.

Key skills:

- Conduct user research and analyze marketing/ product usage data

- Define and evangelize the product vision, inside and outside the organization

- Write product requirements - user stories, functional specifications and SRS

- Draft high-fidelity and low-fidelity mockups, wireframes and HTML prototypes

- Work with web designers, graphics designers and usability experts

- Launch early, test early, get value early using Scrum and Agile principles

- Define and track product success metrics including usage cohorts

- Strong analytics and problem solving skills a must

- Past exposure to a product management role and/or writing product specifications is helpful

- Passion for creating compelling user experiences

- Experience with metrics-driven decision making

- Outstanding written and oral communication skills

- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy

- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market

- A track record for high performance and team/project leadership

- Enthusiastic, performance-driven self-starter and team player
