Background

LeadSquared is a 100% AWS based SaaS solution. Being focused on high-velocity, high-volume, scalability & performance are naturally the core focus areas for our cloud operations team. Our infrastructure spans multiple regions, running thousands of servers and cloud resources serving application, API and workflow volumes that are growing week on week.

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to scale our cloud infrastructure and operations to enable a smooth and predicable 10X growth from here. Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Responsible for uptime, performance and reliability of all LeadSquared applications and services

- Working with engineering teams to ensure all systems are well-architected, observable, secure and scalable.

- Automate all release and infrastructure related processes to bring efficiency and repeatability to processes.

- Work with InfoSec team to ensure all security best practices are followed and implemented.

- Create a robust RCA process to build a prevention culture than fixing culture.

- Interface with customers and customer-facing teams to communicate issues, mitigate customer impact and RCAs.

- Manage and optimize costs.

Key Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this leadership position would have 12+ years of experience in building, scaling and managing cloud applications in AWS environment. Some of the critical requirements of this role are:

- Seasoned and visionary engineering leader with background in developing, architecting and releasing cloud applications.

- Experience in running large-scale cloud operations at scale, in SaaS or consumer internet businesses.

- Managed devops, cloud automation and SRE teams

- Understanding of cloud costs and unit economics of infrastructure.

- Very detail oriented and thorough individual who believes in discipline and process-driven culture.

- Exceptional communication skills, with experience of collaborating with multiple internal teams, customers and business stakeholders.
