Our client is one of the leading investment banking clients which provides industry focused services for clients across geographies. We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their Market risk team in Mumbai. Some of the key responsibilities will include: - Acting as the Market Risk Team Lead and managing the team accordingly. - Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly checks of risk exposures for client portfolios. - Performing regular reporting and analytics, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports. - Conducting 'first level' checks on risk measures, such as tracking error, VaR, stress, and liquidity, against minimum standards. To be eligible for this role you will require: - University degree in a numerical discipline, ideally mathematics, physics, finance, or economics. - 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in risk management and/or asset management. - Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management techniques, including Value-at-Risk, Portfolio Theory, and Stress testing.
