Job opening for Group Consolidation Reporting Profile in Mumbai Location for their leadership level.

Min exp : 10 yrs Post Qualification

CA is mandate

Location : Mumbai

CTC : Upto 32 LPA fixed.

1. Reporting :

- Monthly Group management reporting Pack and Flash P&L is issued per group timeline

- Annual and Half year results are prepared with complete accuracy and with the given schedule.

- Quality assurance reports are reviewed and delivered to the Finance Controllers/Directors as per plan.

- IFRS helpdesk provides support on IFRS related queries to various group entities.

2. Continuous Improvement :

- Drive process improvements across the functions.

- Share and implement Group best practices and help drive standardization of processes.

- Automisation of manual reports

- Increase efficiency across the teams

3. People Management :

- Build, develop and retain capabilities within the team to achieve the stated goals

- Create processes around effective knowledge management within the teams to ensure a culture of continuous learning and self-development.

- Ensure cross training of members to cater to redundancy and tight deadlines.

4. Stakeholder Management :

- Maintain strong stakeholder relationship

- Meet the needs of the stakeholders

Context Operating Environment :

The Specialized Accounting team partners with the Finance Departments of the operating entities of the JLT group and its external clients for their corporate accounting and reporting functions ( including but not limited to producing first draft accounts, captive insurance accounting, pension fund accounting, discretionary trust accounting ) and expense management.

Various Group function support Onsite stakeholders from India. The role of Senior Manager requires the incumbent to support the delivery of relevant, timely and accurate reporting of financial formation, HFM support and treasury & Group security data management .

Framework & Boundaries :

- Delivery as per agreed and defined operating standards

- IFRS, local entity GAAP & accounting concepts & practices

- HFM maintenance and new development

Organization :

- CEO - JLTI

- Director - Finance

- Head - Specialised Accounting

- Senior Manager - Mgt Acc (5 Nos)

- Senior Manager - Clients COE

- Mgr- Exp Mgt

- Senior Manager - Group Functions

- Manager GC

- Manager QA

- Manager GFRS

- Deputy mgr Treasury

Relationships :

Subordinates - Day to day interaction with DRs to provide advice on exceptions

- Weekly interactions with DRs to review BAU

- Monthly interactions with all team members to review BAU & performance

Superiors - Day to Day interaction with reporting authorities to provide update on progress

- Fortnightly interaction with the CEO for updates on projects and objectives

Others :

Within the company :

- Weekly interaction with stakeholders (CFO/FD) to obtain feedback and consult / update on changes if any.

Outside the company : None.

Person Specifications :

Education :

Essential : Chartered Accountant and knowledge of IFRS

Desired : Degree related to Insurance, MBA (Finance)

Work :

Qualifications :

Essential : Hands on experience in Group consolidation, Interco loans, book closure

Desired : Functional knowledge of HFM

Experience :

Essential :

- 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting functions

- At least 5 years- of relevant experience of record to report function

Desired : Worked in off shoring and managed F&A transitions in Insurance domain.

Knowledge :

Essential : Knowledge of IFRS, knowledge of accounting & reporting, costing

Desired : UK GAAP

Skills & Abilities :

Essential :

- Very strong accounting concepts

- Ability to lead and manage team

- Communication and presentation Skills

- Ability to influence

- Attention to details (at a supervisory level where the person has an eye for detail and can get into details as and when required)

- Team player & team leader
