Leadership Role - Finance Master Data Management - Consulting Projects

- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated consultant with experience in designing & implementing solutions in MDM & Data Governance. The placed candidate will aligned as a MDM Subject Matter Expert (SME) and will support the creation of knowledge assets/IP, acquiring new clients through pre-sales activities and delivery of consulting projects.

- Strong Knowledge in Record to Report with specialization in Finance Master Data (Chart of accounts/GL/CC/PC/Legal entity) with deep industry expertise in any one of the following industry (CPG, Life-Sciences, Retail, Manufacturing);

- Very strong knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) with clear understanding of data and its business impact

- Experience in resolving Headcount reconciliation issues between functions like Finance & HR and deploying a futuristic solution to stop the recurrence

- Ability to link finance master data issues/challenges to management and statutory reporting, business processes, problems and analytics

- Experience in MDM transformation in the chosen data domains with strong expertise in Process, Operating model, Technology, Data quality & governance

- Experience in delivering complex MDM strategy assessments & implementation roadmap

- Develop point of views, thought leadership content to establish organization as a leader in MDM

- Strong understanding of standards and processes in ERP such as SAP

- Exposure to reporting, analytics and data lake environments

- Demonstrated aptitude in rolling out data governance and data quality and exposure to best practices

- Proven capability to collaborate, conduct, and lead sessions with Business and IT resources

- Project delivery - timeline and milestone management, stakeholder relationship management

Qualifications:

- CA / MBA Finance / Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce 

- 10+ yrs relevant experience in MDM consulting, Data Governance with knowledge across multiple data domains such as Products, Material & Digital commerce

- Past experience of executed high-impact MDM consulting projects or solutions. Have delivered complex MDM strategy assessments & future state design, Finance MDM policy creation, Process improvements & implementation roadmaps

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with consulting and pre-sales experience

- Brings in clear understanding on how Master Data can impact various business processes of any company i.e. Linkage of Master Data to various Business Processes

- Creative thinking / innovative mind set

- Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple sectors

- Familiarity in lean management and six sigma methodology desired but not required

- Education and training related to business processes improvement and its desired business outcomes
