Leadership Role - F&A Operations - IT (15-20 yrs)

We have an opening with one of Top 3 IT companies.

Client: one of the top 3 IT co.s in India

Role: F&A Operations

Location : Chennai


Main Priorities:


- Evaluation and prioritization of business processes for offshore service delivery

- Establishing an Utility based operating model to deliver best in class in scope services

- Interface with client teams to evolve a suitable transition approach

- Oversee knowledge transfer

- Manage the relationship with the client business heads


- Manage service delivery and meet customer requirements as per agreed SLAs.

- Should ensure Customer satisfaction & Operational excellence

- Function as point of escalation for all delivery issues

- Build and manage excellent business relationships with internal/external customer groups, peers and senior management

- Ensure training & developmental plan for all the team members

- Ensure - zero liability- delivery through robust process controls

- Work with Risk Management team for audit and compliance

- Participate in Operations Reviews


- Innovate and Improvise on processes with hard targets for process improvements

- Evaluate process changes feasibility and work closely with the client to implement changes

- Driving Quality initiatives including Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma etc.

- Imbibe companies culture of focus on - value- in the team with implementation of Value Portal

- Work with Transformation Board for generation, evaluation and implementation of big ticket ideas


- Chartered Accountant Must (CPA will be a plus)

- 15+ years in senior management positions with relevant industry experience/exposure in leading the entire spectrum of Finance and Accounting operations

- Worked in Financial Services industry, preferably with a Capital Markets/Custody/Fund Management company

- Knowledge/experience in Financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS is required

- Familiar with and experience in Sarbanes Oxley compliance

- Working experience in Oracle & Hyperion environment

- Should have managed multiple transitions in shared services and overseen fast ramp-ups of 200+

- Ability to drive change

- Thought leadership in the domain

- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership qualities coupled with Client interfacing skills

- Strong project management and analytical skills

- Six Sigma/Lean experience a plus
