Leadership Role - Data Management - Banking

Our client is one of the leading Global Banking firm which provides industry-focused services for clients across geographies. Looking for a seasoned candidate to lead their Investment Data Services Team in Mumbai.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Managing critical data delivery across asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Private Markets, ETD & OTC Derivatives).

- Collaborate closely with UK and Singapore teams, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates across investment systems, including Aladdin.

- Manage daily data quality monitoring, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication. Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency using VBA, SQL, and Power BI.

- Oversee sustainability and ESG data management for Asset Management.

- Provide leadership to a team of 15 - 20 professionals, ensuring training, development, and high performance.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- 12 - 15 years of experience in a buy-side Asset Management company, with strong exposure to investment data management.

- Master's degree in Finance / Mathematics / Economics is essential; CFA / FRM is a plus.

- Expertise in investment instruments across asset classes and sustainability / ESG data.

- Proficiency in SQL, VBA, Bloomberg / Reuters, Power BI, and Aladdin is highly desirable.

- Proven track record of driving change and process improvements.
