Leader/Senior Manager/Head - Business Development/Sales - EdTech (5-12 yrs)

Key activities & responsibilities :

Business Development :

- Lead the business development function, ensuring excellent levels of client experience.

- Develop a partnerships and sales funnel and achieve given targets for employer partnerships.

- Generate key strategic employer partnerships for content, recruitment, branding and distributions.

- Develop close stakeholder relations with hiring managers and facilitate placement, internship and employment opportunities and jobs feeds on our platform.

- Develop mutually beneficial partnerships with B2B platforms with access to high volume learner base.

- Working closely with the marketing team, develop a thriving calendar of industry engagement events, eg hackathons, fairs etc to firmly establish company as a career advancement platform

Content partnership with Corporates :

- To connect with corporates offering learning content and negotiate terms for embedding industry content in our learning resources.

- Develop close stakeholder relations with corporates for the appointment of industry advisors.

- To collaborate effectively with internal business content academics team who will work with you and your employer contacts to shape and develop the content.

Sales :

- To execute and manage a pre-launch and a long-term sales and distribution strategy for an ambitious global career development platform.

- Manage the complete life cycle from customer acquisition to monetization.

- Lead the targets for the recruitment of employer sponsored learners.

- Harness employer relationships for strategic partnerships for profile and revenue generation opportunities particularly in the B2B and the B2B2C models of operation

Qualifications and Experience :

- A relevant bachelor's qualification or equivalent experience/Master's degree preferred.

- 5-12 years of experience in sales, partnership development, employer relations, sales and/or significant industry experience preferred.

- Experience of international markets will be an added advantage.

- Experience of using B2B marketing tools and CRMs to facilitate effective employer engagement across the institution.

- Prior or current experience in EdTech is advantageous.

- Experience in program development, employer relations, and relationship management required.

- An existing network of business contacts is essential.
