Leader - Public Policy - BFS

We are looking for a Senior Leadership role in Public Policy for one of our Client.

The position is based out of Delhi/NCR with the applicant should carry an experience of over 12 years.

The person must have experience in the below areas

1) Public Policy

2) Government Affairs

3) Regulatory Affairs

4) Taxation

Role : 

1) Develop and lead a proactive public policy outreach program working in conjunction with the client's public policy teams around the world

2) Lead the government affairs program in an effort to establish Client as a recognized expert and act as primary contact for India's government and political influencers.

3) Work with the international and regional policy teams to develop an India specific public policy strategy and implementable program for India.

4) Drive strategic political/government engagement along with the Division President on special projects.

5) Prepare submissions to regulatory reviews and engage in consultation with regulators - the central bank, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Union Ministry of Finance in India.

6) Provide media talking points and coordinate with Internal Communications for thought leadership.

7) Contributing to Public Policy and advocacy activity. Advance bilateral advocacy opportunities (India US) - USIBC, Commerce, USTR, US Embassy etc.
