APAC Packaging Procurement Leader_FMCG MNC_Mumbai
Main Purpose of Role :
- The role will have dual-responsibility, and aim to drive (i) Strategic Category Management across APAC countries on Packaging and (ii) Procurement Operation in the ASEAN/Taiwan cluster for all the E2E PKG contract execution.
- The candidate is expected to drive best practices, regional sourcing strategy, and demand management to optimize total value contribution for all the relevant Packaging material categories including flexibles, cartons, corrugated, which used for key Family care, Personal care, and professional business.
- Additionally, the individual is accountable to ensure contract and process compliance, operation effectiveness and efficiencies align with internal regional/global strategies and policies, ensure supply, quality and service level from supplier side via supplier relationship management.
- The individual is also required to work with global procurement team & business stakeholders to ensure global programs/strategies is aligned with regional/country priorities and meeting local business expectation. The role requires developing strong influential relationship with key stakeholders related to packaging category sourcing and ensure business alignment and remove the barriers & constraints to maximize the value to corporate & region.
- The above work scope will have significant implications in product performance, mill operation and service delivery, therefore the position is able directly impact company performance.
- The applicant should have an entrepreneurial mind-set, strong learning agility and speed, to accelerate procurement initiatives implementation. Furthermore, people-management and stakeholder collaboration skill is critical to the role. As part of the procurement transformation journey in ASEAN/TW, the candidate need to be comfortable to navigate change-management and take total ownership to support business priority through new ways of working. The role will have a number of direct reports.
