Lead - Trade Finance - UCP 600 - BPO

About our client : Our client is the BPO arm of a large IT Services, Consulting & Business Solutions firm.

Job Description

Reviewing end to end Trade Document prepared for Corporate clients export needs. Document Preparation will include preparing 1st and 3rd Party documents for LCs, Collections and Open Account.

Key Responsibilities:

- Vetting the LC received for the exporter / beneficiary to check if the LC is favorable to them

- Reviewing the 1st party documents like Invoice, Packing List, Beneficiary Certificate etc as per the Contract / LC

- Reviewing the 3rd party documents like Transport Documents (Bill of Lading/Airway Bill), Certificate of Origin, Inspection Certificate etc as per the Contract / LC

- Liaising with Banks, Shipping Company/Freight Forwarder, Agents, Chambers of Commerce, Courier Company etc - Interaction with internal & external stakeholder and ensure all types of customer complaints & enquiries are resolved promptly

- Ensuring documents are Collated and Matched correctly - Monitor Queue for incoming transactions and ensure they are processed promptly

- Responsible to prepare & monitor process related activity & transaction reports - Monitor pending transactions and ageing transactions to ensure documents are dispatched within the time frame

- Ensure KPI and SLA targets are met

Desired profile

- Trade finance profile with excellent LC knowledge

- Experience in Banking, BPO, shipping lines, international logistics companies, freight forwarders

- Hands on experience in handling LC's and documents that are called for under a LC

- Expertise in UCP 600 guidelines
