At present, We are having an urgent opening for SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD - (INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS) for a REPUTED FMCG Co based at MUMBAI location.
The company is a fast-growing FMCG company with a yearly turnover of 1200 - 1600 crores having its international presence in Bangladesh, GCC countries, Nepal and ROW market.

POSITION : SUPPLY CHAIN LEAD
JOB LOCATION : MUMBAI
ROLE PURPOSE : A central role in Supply chain working with all the IB units and the stakeholders in India and the external vendor ecosystem to improve operational efficiencies and service for the IB units
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Planning, Strategy & Financials:
- Formulate comprehensive plans for the purchase and sourcing of Raw and packing Materials for the various international units.
- Coordinate with units outside of India for Develop new vendors for new raw, packing and finished products
- Support Head-IB in supply chain streamlining, optimal utilization of resources, improving process efficiencies and reducing the total cost.
- Manage the S n OP for IB business working with relevant stakeholders of sales, marketing and plants.
- Responsible for setting up of manufacturing, sourcing, procurement in international geographies in close co-ordination with IB & India supply chain teams.
- Work with functional managers of Supply chain and operations function for continuous improvement in operations and for transfer of best practices to the various units outside of India
Operational/ Functional:
- Follow systems and processes for evaluation of suppliers measure effectiveness
- Adhere to standardized systems and processes to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce redundancies in supply chain of all the units
- Develop & maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Assist Head-IB in implementation of cost reduction plans
- Ensure timely supplies to all units
- Negotiate competitive rates and freight charges with the vendors to minimize costs without compromising quality and timely availability
People / Self Development :
- Seek requisite developmental support/ inputs from the leadership and strive for self-development, both functional and behavioral.
- Undergo training as required for self-development.
- Update self-knowledge base to cater the organization needs.
Policies, Processes and Procedures:
- Take responsibility for improving profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through appropriate and timely information support and analysis.
- Take initiatives for cost reduction in transportation, storage and other related costs by new initiatives and standardizing them.
- Provide necessary information on key operational and cost parameters at every stage of the procurement cycle.
