Lead - Strategic Sourcing - API & Chemical Manufacturing Firm (13-20 yrs)
A leading API and chemical manufacturing company wishes to hire the Head of Strategic Sourcing.
- The incumbent will head strategic sourcing for the entire business operations of the company.
- He /she will be responsible for creating an alternate vendor base for manufacturing and also support new product development for R&D.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Development of annual sourcing plan
- Identifying and developing partners /vendors across the globe
- Market research on RM required
- Efficiency in Procurement processes, and contract management
- Ensuring smooth operations by working closely with legal, commercial, R&D, Manufacturing, QA
- Cost management
- We invite applications from seasoned professionals with Strategic sourcing experience of solvents, fine chemicals, sourcing experience of intermediates for API Manufacturing.
- Must have exposure in procurement from China and other geographies.
- Strong negotiator with good business acumen.
- Must have exposure in sourcing /developing vendor base for new product development & R&D .
