Lead - Sourcing - Plastics (8-18 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Plan and manage company's overall sourcing strategy for plastics
- Develop and deploy sourcing strategy as per manufacturing plans and projection.
- Preparing purchase schedules for timely procurement plastic inputs for all product lines.
- Track progress and quality of work being performed by Vendors/Suppliers.
- Choosing appropriate suppliers (focusing on quality, delivery, cost and sustainability) and engaging with suppliers and developing contracts
- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.
- Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
- Managing price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluation, updating performance and communicate feedback.
- Reviewing supplier performance to ensure that quality standards are being met and problems are addressed quickly
- Manage purchasing budgets and procurement reports.
