Lead SME - Domain Consultant - SCM Operations - Steel/Mining/Metal Industry (12-19 yrs)
Lead SME - SCM Operations is a domain consulting role, handling large and medium size accounts from Steel / Mining/Metal Industry both having presence in India and Global market. SME SCM will the Prime SPOC between Client Management group and outsourced delivery leads in India, Bridging the Gap between both the management groups. Ensuring if the service delivery operations is exhibited and delivered according to the client SLAs and KPI,
As a SME he/ she will also play provide advisory service for any new deal acquisition, providing effective solutions in a complex environment. Identify areas of Improvement and provide Transformation support for Business Excellence etc.
A High end Individual Contributor portfolio with critical delivery criticalities.
Strong understanding and working experience in end to end SCM Operations from Steel Industry
Bachelors or Master Degree in Metallurgy or MBA/PGDBM in Operations Management
Strong 12-15 years of experience in Metal/Steel industry with exposure to functions like Procurement, Production/Shop Floor Planning, Materials Planning or Production Planning & Control, Sales, Distribution and Customer Service
Strong knowledge of quality management practices in metals and mining industry.
Six Sigma Black belt or Green belt certified is preferred
Ability to use data and data analytics tools to infer business insights and drive business process improvement initiatives.
Professional Certifications From APICS, CILT etc. are preferred
SAP Experience in using modules like PP, MM, SD, CRM & APO
Open to Looking at candidates with Initial Core industry experience from STELL/Mining/ Metal Industry handling end to end SCM Operations delivery role and than moving to a Domain consulting portfolio in the ITES Industry line
