Lead/Senior Manager - Procurement Analytics - Agri/Commodity Trading Firm (12-18 yrs)

Job Title: Lead, Sr. Manager - Procurement Analytics

Location: Mohali, Chandigarh, India

- We have implemented a Shared Services Center in Mohali, India to support Global Operations in areas of Finance & Accounting, Trade Operations, Treasury and IT Support and other back-office support Services.

Scope of this position : 

- Lead Procurement management office (Senior Manager) to implement best practices, manage governance reviews, reporting & analytics, reporting KPIs, etc., to achieve total cost of ownership. 

- Responsibilities to also include managing market analysis / benchmarking, governing procurement policy and procedures. Being a senior member of management office communication, stakeholder management and proficiency in procurement is desired.

Primary Responsibilities :

1) Analytics and reporting :

- Prepare Regional Budget Plan (Costs and Savings) and monitor results

- Control Addressable and Influenced spend

- ROI management - cost v/s savings produced

- Manage monthly spend analytics refreshes and Quarterly maintenance cycles for the Spend Analytics Solution (Tableau, Zycus)

- Management and coordinating global sourcing budget & annual planning

2) Procurement Governance and relationship management (PLT, Segment/Functional Leads, SteerCo and CFOs, F&A, ARROP, Global IT, GCP)

- Manage global procurement organization's governance reviews and reporting with internal and external stakeholders

- Organize and manage review preparations, conduct and follow-through along with category and procurement management

3) Project management and tracking

- Tracking procurement projects/initiatives

- Participate in project governance and reporting

4) Promote Procurement Best Practices and Continuous Improvement

- Coordinate multifunctional teams to implement Best Practices

- Assure alignment with Global Procurement projects

- Streamline e-processes with right tool, training, alignment and improvement

5) Supports talent development for Procurement in cooperation with stakeholders within global procurement organization

- Organizes trainings for the region

- Support Talent team development revising and preparing training materials

6) Participate Policies and Procedures, best practices and improvements

- Adapt Global Policies and Procedures for the region, assuring compliance and standardizations process cross the region

- Communicate with Procurement teams (local and global) and internal stakeholders

- Coordination and management of internal audits; key point of contact related to SOX and Audit investigation


- 12-15 years of work experience in procurement management

- Experience in Agribusiness/Commodity trading industry preferred

- Should have experience in leading a team size of 10-15 member teams for service delivery

- Ability to work under pressure and remain composed

- Should be hands-on and possess a Can-Do attitude

- Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of any European language will be an added advantage.

- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

- Ability to provide a high-quality level of customer service

- Experience in managing people and processes through a sustained period of change

- Excellent computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

- Prior experience in working with Procurement tools like Ariba/Coupa/SAP SRM

Distinct Advantage :

- Experience working in a similar Shared Services Centre setup a distinct advantage

- Experience in SAP, SAP SRM, SAP Vendor Invoice Management
