Brake Parts Inc. is part of First Brands Group (formerly TRICO Group) - a global automotive parts manufacturer that serves the worldwide automotive industry with best-in-class technology and engineering capabilities, delivering high customer service and growth.

The group is setting up a global support center at Domlur, Bengaluru to support its global manufacturing, sales & logistics operations. Your candidature is being considered for Materials planning function.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years' relevant SAP consulting or industry experience

- General SAP Administration, Activity Planning, SAP Refresh, System Maintenance, SAP System decommission, Space utilization & Management, SAP Patching and SAP Notes Application

- Apply deep knowledge of the business processes related to the design, installation, administration, testing and on-going maintenance of SAP

- Participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations for continuous improvement

- Experience with Unix scripting, database creations, migrations, system sizing, systems configurations, storage management, database backups, recovery.

- 6-12 years Solution Design, Technical design, end-to-end architecting with SAP systems

- Experience in Upgrading SAP applications, Strong knowledge of environment either consist of - Linux, Wintel servers with databases Oracle, SQL Server etc.

- Strong knowledge of Solution Manager Configuration (Manage System Config, CHARM, CTS+ etc.)

- Good experience working on Virtualize environment

- Knowledge of SAP cloud environment (MS Azure) along with certification will be added advantage

- Implementation and Administration of SAP Fiori is an added advantage

- Prior experience in SAP Performance Tuning

- Functional and/or technical knowledge in SAP HANA is a plus

Responsibilities :

- Building new environments & Consolidation of systems

- Execute Upgrades, Enhancement Packages implementation

- Execute System copies, os/db migration

- Responsible for setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of SAP on Linux/Oracle environments.

- Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)

- Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products

- Apply patches to databases used for SAP applications

- Work collaboratively with the SAP Functional team and management team on projects, issues and enhancements

- Provide technical guidance for projects including application installation and tuning, planning and installing patches in test and production environments

- Should be able to configure test and implement SAP Solman functionalities

- Provide problem resolutions and be part of a 24x7 on-call SAP support team.

- Participate as a key member of the SAP Migration and upgrade team to provide the technical deliverables for SAP Basis, Infrastructure projects

- Support project teams during the development cycle and provide technical support during deployments

- Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces

- Experience Configuring and maintaining SAP Solution Manager & ChaRM
