Regional Business Compliance Manager (Senior Manager)

Role Objective :

- Safeguarding the interest of the organization through Legal compliance

- Providing accurate and relevant legal and compliance advisory to business and regional business teams

- Drafting of necessary policies and processes for the company including implementation and ensuring periodic compliance, training and filing

- Ensure business continuity during any challenging situation

Job Responsibilities :

- Providing accurate and relevant legal and compliance advisory to business and regional business teams and closely work with Regional CEOs

- Excellent understanding of local and national laws for business operations

- Coordinate with stakeholders for consultation and strategic direction with Governance, Risk and Audit Compliance of all laws

- Co-ordinate with consultants and advisors for improvising the standards and compliance across all functions of the organization

- Raise awareness, training and skill improvement for all employees on legal compliance

- Provide counsel, assistance and support in creation of structures for ethics and business compliance

- Enforcement of policies applicable for multiple business unit

- Travel across India on a short notice and handle any show cause, litigation

- Drafting of responses to any notices, reply/counter statements and submission of necessary pleadings and appear before any authority/court

- Closely work with Advocates, Law Firms and Compliance Advisors to handle on show cause, litigation and related activities

- Extensive working knowledge on Legal Metrology Act, Labour Laws, Intellectual Property Laws, Anti-Bribery, Competition, POSH and related laws for Corporate functioning

- Initiate action on Copy Right, Trade Mark and IPR Violations, issuing Cease and Desist Notice, filing complaints before Law Enforcement Authorities and initiating proceedings/cases before relevant courts

- Maintain good standards of Corporate Governance, including ensuring compliance with applicable laws, consents, regulations, company's policies and rules

Specifications :

- The candidate should have very deep knowledge on Legal + Compliance

- Experience range would be 5-10 years

- Law degree from a reputed law school is a must. CS/CA/ICWA would be an added advantage to consider
