Sales & Marketing Lead (Agri input)
We are currently retained by a well-established Agri player to hire a Lead- Sales and Marketing for them.
Role: Sales and Marketing Lead
Location: Kolkata
This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who left their states in the East for better opportunities and have been yearning for a great opportunity to return back.
This role needs a seasoned Sales and Marketing Agri professional who likes working closely with farmers and has deep understanding of Agri input industry. We need someone who has handled a Pan India role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accountable for revenue generation and margin targets for pan India level and develop strong dealership model across India.
- Building, planning, directing, and implementing business strategies and programs to achieve or exceed the sales objectives for the organization.
- Partnering with various NGOs/FPOs/ NBFCs to explore new business opportunities.
- Prepare calendar and monitor different demand generation activities like farmer's meet/ webinar/seminar/Govt. official's meet across India
- Develop and maintain a strong sales infrastructure and an aggressive sales team.
- Managing, directing, and coordinating the activities of the Regional Sales Managers.
To fit the bill, you must have :
- Graduate in Agri followed by MBA in Agri from Tier 1 college
- 10-15 years of experience in Sales and Marketing for agri input companies
- Must have handled pan India geography
- Handled a large team size
- Strong understanding of distribution models
- Strong presentation and pitching skills.
This role will involve extensive travel, apply only if you are willing to travel- this isnt an office based role only.
