Lead - Sales - Cinema

Lead the cinema products sales and marketing for India and well as manage sales of Cinema line of lenses including Compact Primes, Cinema Zooms, Lightweight Zoom, Supreme Primes and other products.

Position Summary:

The representative will be leading the sales and business development for cinema products for India by developing and implementing the India wide sales and marketing strategy for cinema products. He will also be directly responsible for the sale, promotion and demand generation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the India wide sales and marketing strategy for cinema products by leading cinema area sales managers and cinema technical sales specialist

- Manage key accounts, forecasts and to build revenue in West Region

- Manages existing customers and seek out new ones.

- Provide technical information and training for full line of cinema products

- Plan and executes demonstrations for Cinematographers, filmmakers, rental houses, dealers

- Create and execute educational workshops and modules for film schools

- Help create and execute presence at trade shows and film festivals

- Train dealers, close sales and provide post-sales support

Experience and Education Requirements:

- Must have 4+ years of cinema sales experience

- Must have 4+ years of cinema camera and lens experience

- Has existing relationships with top tier camera rental houses

- Has existing industry relationships with cinematographers and directors of photography

- Knowledgeable and adaptable to ever-changing camera and lens technology, and standards

- Experienced in film and television production and practices

- Has on-set experience and understands jargon and workflow

- Cinematography and/or broadcast background required

- Operationally versed, e.g. able to handle logistics for shows, events and workshops

- Ability to handle cinema equipment and support trade shows, conferences, workshops and the like
