Sales Lead India - Big Data and AI Startup


A leading AI and big data company are currently looking for a Country / Region Sales Head to grow their enterprise business in the region. The incumbent will be instrumental in defining the sales strategy for the country / region and execute the same to meet individual, team, and organizational goals. Their clients are top-tier enterprises in the banking, e-commerce, and travel spaces.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- 10-15 years of experience, along with domain knowledge in financial services, airlines and hospitality.

- Strong leadership skills with an enterprise B2B sales background in solutions / SaaS space, ideally with a deep knowledge of BI / analytics / Big data / AI.

- Proven experience in building strong C-level relationships in the region.

- Consultative sales skills and ability to construct and articulate strong business case and ROI, strategic account planning and execution skills.

- Created and articulated compelling value conversations with C-Level stakeholders and worked in alignment with inside stakeholders namely Customer Success, Delivery and Product teams etc.

- Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals.

- Managed numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.

- Worked in either a product / platform company, or an internet platform play (Salesforce, Adobe), or a digitally oriented enterprise cloud marketing platform (Oracle Marketing Cloud, SAP Hybris, IBM Watson etc.) and consulting companies.

Required skills :

- Exposure in product / platform sales, with either solution selling or high-end SaaS / subscription model.

- Expertise in selling high end full stack solutions, with exposure to: AI / big data / analytic / customer engagement / digital marketing / loyalty.

- Have very strong and deep existing client network and connections among the relevant industry sectors.

- Have ties to partners and tech ecosystem.
