Lead Role - Indirect Taxation ( Qualified CA ) || EPC Business Group

Job Description:

Location - Mumbai

Department - Taxation

Reporting to: Vice President & Group Head - Tax

Experience - 16+ years

Qualification - CA

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct Tax Compliances, Assessment, Litigation and Collection of refunds

- GST compliance and optimization of GST cash outflow and credit utilization:

- To ensure Timely submission of correct GST return, Annual Return and Audit reports for all Registration of KEC and JV's.

- Reduction of accumulated GST balance by planning & optimum internal use.

- To plan and claim GST refunds and exports refunds

- Ensure tax accounting, reconciliation of Tax GL with Return balances & Statutory audit compliance refund.

- Expeditious completion of the old assessments and collection of pending refunds of at least 12 Crs.)

- Participate, Guide and Support Tender Teams to strategically leverage the Taxation angle and create a competitive edge / win tender Representing company in GST litigations at various stages.

- Representing the company in GST litigations at various stages.

- Organizational transformation and New Initiatives and improving the effectiveness of the tax function: Transform KEC through credible interventions to make it a contemporary and open workplace

- To lead the digitization and automation of the GST processes

Experience:

16 to 22 years of experience in:

1. Indirect Tax and GST / dealing with Tax authorities

2. Operational knowledge in SAP

3. Accounting / Commercial knowledge

4. Good knowledge and experience in Direct Tax (Income Tax)

Required Skills and Capabilities:

- Hands-on experience in statutory and regulatory compliances - TDS, VAT, CST, Professional Tax

- Proficiencies in monitoring trends and interpreting financial information, analysis and recommendations in all the KPIs, Cost Optimization

- Should be strong in communication and analytical skills with ability to constructively discuss and reach the conclusion
