Lead - Risk Assessment - Vehicle & Home Finance - Enterprise Risk Team (12-20 yrs)
Job Description :
Lead the Enterprise Risk Team for Credit Risk identification assessment and monitoring from the RMC perspective and supporting the CRO.
Responsibilities :
- Being a core team member within the ERM team who understands the business and is able to contribute to the ERM credit risk process
- Reviews credit/underwriting policies of the businesses and provides guidance for risk mitigation to the business
- Conducts periodic portfolio analysis in relation to the business strategies and the credit policies to provide actionable insights, identify trends with the intent of mitigating credit risk, and measure performance.
- Collaborates with business credit /underwriting and collections teams to provide support for improving credit risk processes
- Provides inputs for changes in policies and thresholds for identifying and managing risks to the business
- Tracks the monthly performance of all portfolios and indicators to measure and monitor business risk
Qualification & Other Attributes :
- 12+ years of industry credit experience across lines of retail lending businesses with banks/NBFCs in a National Credit/Portfolio Role
- In depth knowledge of credit operations across the customer lifecycle
- Knowledge of the external regulatory requirements
- Understanding of credit and lending operations and systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work as a team.
- Nice to have financial qualifications
