Risk Analytics Lead-(Credit Risk, Underwriting Risk, Acquisition, Portfolio & Operational Risk)

- A niche lender who are using Data and Analytics to provide an under-served international market with a, until now non-existent personal finance service including deposit accounts and consumer lending facilities, are now looking for a Risk Analyst to propel their fast growth.

- How would you like to use your strong Data skills and Risk Analytics (or strategic) experience to make a difference in people's lives in our global economy? You'll have end to end ownership over Risk and Strategic Analytics projects and will genuinely be making an impact on the business from early doors.

THE ROLE:

- Develop Risk framework and design wider risk appetite

- Ownership over thematic review, continuous reviews and validation oversight

- Ensure the adherence to Risk standards and frameworks across the full lifecylce

- Ensure robustness of standards, controls and practices in place to mitigate Credit Risk

- Advise the company on all aspects of Risk management, focusing on unsecured portfolios

- Manipulate and analyse large sets of data on a daily basis

- Gain insights from the data and make strategic Business and Credit Risk decisions

- Development of Risk and wider commercial strategies aimed at Portfolio Profitability

- Reporting directly to the Head Analytics, you will get weekly expo sire to the C-level

- Act as an internal consultant within the business, interacting with various teams and levels

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - 

- Educated to degree level (minimum) in a numerate discipline

- Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a analytics driven environment

- Expertise in using SQL AND R or Python to manipulate and analyse data

- Experience using large sets of data to develop business strategies

- Experience working in an analytical Risk environment

- Hands on Advance Analytics OR Machine Learning Techniques.
