Lead - Research - Energy Sector - Consulting Firm (3-6 yrs)
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Leads a team of Associates and Analysts to execute the case
- Take responsibility for assigning work streams. Monitor and manage workload and resolve overloads
- Understand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectations. Show ability to resolve discrete issues and/or drive consensus
- Identify and apply the relevant analytical tools for own work stream. Ensure zero- defect analysis in own work stream ensuring key questions are answered in a timely manner
- Communicate data, knowledge and insight to the entire team. Generate and screen realistic solutions based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutions
- Effectively manage client and team meetings and deliver clear and professional presentations to the team, team leaders and managers/partners across the Bain system.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work experience: 3-6 years of experience in consulting/ research/ analytics, with hands on experience in serving oil & gas, power and renewables clients on key topics like sector transformation, pricing, energy transition, circular carbon economy, etc. Client-facing consulting experience is preferred.
