Job Description - This position will be directly responsible for initiating and maintaining a strong compliance program that cuts across Product Regulation & Safety, Labor & Employment, Food Safety, Consumer protection, Health & Wellness etc, maintaining a stronghold on Ethics & Compliance.

Our client is one of the largest retail firms in world, which is also having a strong presence in the Indian Market. They're currently on an expansion spree till 2020, looking to further expand their presence in India. They're currently looking at hiring a Regulatory Compliance Lead, who will be based out of their corporate HO in Delhi NCR.

Description

Reporting directly into the Function Head (CXO), your key responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing all existing food safety strategies in order to reduce risks

- Developing strategies to assess and monitor corporate risk and liability posed by laws/regulations

- Overseeing implementations of Labor/Employment compliance

- Initiating risk mitigation programs

- Setting up Safety, Quality and Regulatory standards for products, suppliers and audits

Profile

You will have:

- A Master's degree in Law.

- Relevant certifications in Quality/Regulatory/Compliance

- 10-20 years of work experience with at least 5 years in a Regulatory/Compliance role

- Prior experience in working in the FMCG/Retail industry

- Having worked with international brands in the FMCG space is definitely a plus.
