We are hiring for the role of Lead/Regional Business Head Head for a leading Food-Tech company. Location - Mumbai Position - Lead/Regional Business Development Head The team: The Regional Sales team is the revenue generation engine. Their superpower lies in prospecting and engaging the prospective clients that are looking to improve their revenue generation capability and operational efficiency. Your role: As a Regional Head, you will lead a team of Account Executives and build meaningful relationships with prospective customers and convert them into happy clients by helping them realize the value in adopting one or more of our product offerings. You will: - Identify key zones and sub regions within your territory and prepare staffing plan - Hire the best AEs that understand the sales process and are great at building customer relationships - Train the AEs in the company's way of selling - Prepare a weekly plan and conduct daily reviews using CRM and other sales tools to monitor achievement vs plan. - Implement appropriate incentive programs to motivate and drive team performance. - Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process. - Engage restaurant decision makers by visiting them or engaging them over calls to get them to demo our product offering and convert into paying customers. - Assume shared responsibility with the on-boarding team to ensure a smooth go-live experience for customers. We are looking for someone who has/is: - 5-8 years of experience in Sales and in a leadership role for the past 2+ years. - Good understanding of the food tech industry. - Capable of exhibiting an empathetic, precise and articulate approach towards engaging senior decision makers and helping them understand the business value in adopting a SaaS/technical solution. - A clear and correct manner of communicating their thoughts verbally or in a written form. - Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment. - Experience at selling a SaaS solution and able to understand technical topics comfortably. - Well versed in managing their day-to-day activities on a CRM tool like Salesforce. - Hands on leader - inherent urge to spend time with customers; cannot sit behind a desk
