Quantitative Analytics Lead

Our client is leading global financial services organization looking to hire candidates with experience in quantitative analytics space.

Job Description:

- Develop financial planning methodologies that are used to support the advice given to retail and workplace clients.

- Strong problem-solving ability

- Ability to convert a real-world problem into a mathematical formulation

- Good execution skill to execute a solution working across business, investment, technology, legal and compliance

- Ability to communicate complex problems in simplified manner with information tailored to audience

- Assisting in the creation of organizations methodologies, points of view, and planning principles

- Explore the application of AI/ML (deep learning) in the development of methodologies for financial solutions

- Develop new financial products

Desired Profile :

- The ideal candidate should have advance degree in quantitative fields, with deep theoretical knowledge about AI/ ML, optimization and has some knowledge about investment theories - especially quantitative aspects.

Required qualifications :

- Advance degree in quantitative field preferably Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, B. Tech / M. Tech etc.

- Deep understanding of the theories and mathematics behind deep learning, different optimization techniques, reinforcement learning etc.

- CFA / FRM / Actuarial qualifications, or experience in investment related field or knowledge about theories of investment acquired through self-study.

- Strong quantitative ability to convert a real-world problem into mathematical formulations.

Preferred experience and qualifications :

- One who has applied AI/ML, reinforcement learning etc. preferably in investment field

- Strong entrepreneurial skill in identifying business problems and innovative mind to come up with solutions

- At least one of Python / R is must

- Experience with Oracle database, SQL is preferred
