Our client is a Premium Business House .We are looking for Lead Purchase with at least 6-7 Years experience in AGRI CHEMICALS and overall 10-18years experience

The primary responsibilities of this role, Lead - Purchasing, are to:

- Manage the buying activities with close collaboration with Production, Quality and finance

- Lead and develop together with R&D and Quality, product based strategic suppliers

- Look for ways on improving the working capital and strengthening relationships with suppliers

- Develop, lead and participate in Special Projects with high impact on procurement cost and inventory

- Regular follow up and sharing the changes and challenges in the chemical ecosystem to help the business develop a strategy for safety stocking or backward integration etc.

- Ensure compliance to all internal process and Government regulations.

- Lead a high-performance team that embraces continuous improvement objective

- Use constructive techniques that support company growth and digitization aspiration

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering with at least 12 - 15 years' of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Supply; or a Master's Degree and at least 10 years of Purchase experience;

- At least ten years of direct supervisory experience, including demonstrated ability to attract and develop talent and build teams

- An excellent understanding of Chemicals and intermediate value chain, Supply Chain Management, interrelation with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and other functional areas

- Be proficient with SAP and the PP/DS and SNP modules within SAP or APO

- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, management, communication, and decision-making skills

- Customer focus, including demonstrated continuous improvement projects

- Proven organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to appropriately balance short-term business demands.
