Product Marketing - Lead @ Last9

Company Overview

We at Last9 are building an SRE platform that makes running software at scale, fun, and embarrassingly easy. Our platform removes the toil from everyday operations and makes finding the root cause & preventing failures a matter of a few clicks.

Last9 is looking for a lead Product Marketing Manager to be a part of our fast-growing GTM team in the USA. This role will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for strategizing and designing Last9's GTM play for enterprise buyers. She will work closely with internal stakeholders (engineers, product managers, sales executives, field marketers etc.) and our customers to define the messaging and create a compelling positioning of our products. This includes highlighting the immediate and long-term value of Last9's reliability graph and showing how our products can help enterprises with their observability and reliability changes.

Responsibilities :

- Define the go-to-market strategy for Enterprise, making it simple for our users to understand the value the Last9 System graph brings to Enterprise buyers

- Conduct customer research to understand the pain points, needs, and workflows of our Enterprise buyers and users. Develop, communicate and deploy customer insights using customer surveys, interviews, research, and analysis of customer usage and data

- Own and manage the launch of new products and features relevant to Enterprise buyers. Partner with key stakeholders across engineering, product, customer, and sales to define product requirements and release plans (including channels, communications, content etc.)

- Define the messaging and positioning for the Enterprise segment. Create materials that help customers understand how to meet their Observability and reliability requirements using Last9 Systems Reliability Graph.

- Enable sales and demand generation teams to address Enterprise customers' requirements: clearly define the capabilities of our products and the value they provide, deliver internal training and enablement, ensure teams understand our products well enough to engage with customers, and create customer-facing materials for sales to leverage

- Develop market and competitive intelligence, acting as our thought leader and expert in the monitoring and observability space

Requirements :

- 5+ years experience in marketing, sales, product, or customer success, including 2+ years as a product marketing manager/Sr. manager for a B2B SaaS or cloud technology company/fast growing startup

- Experience with marketing and selling products/services to large enterprises

- Understand product marketing best practices and processes including ability to think through -GTM strategy, pick top priorities and projects etc.

- Exceptional writer and storyteller - able to communicate with empathy to enterprise B2B audiences by understanding their jobs to be done

- Ability to articulate the value of a product clearly/service to customers, but also to sales teams in a way that enables them to communicate it to enterprise customers

- Have experience analysing user data, customer insights, and market research to define product positioning

- Technical- and business-benefit understanding of prevailing and emerging cloud monitoring technologies.

- Impeccable time management skills and an ability to self-direct

- It would be great but not mandatory to have:-

- An understanding of observability (monitoring, logging, and tracing) and databases.

- Awareness and insight into industry trends (technology, methods, and tooling).

- Familiarity with micro services architecture and container orchestration with Kubernetes
