Lead - Pricing Analytics - Insurance (3-5 yrs)
Should have extensive experience in marketing analytics - designing and implementing solutions using statistical/predictive modelling techniques and tools such as SAS, R and SQL. Experience Insurance industry and in advanced AI/ML techniques is a big plus.
Responsibilities :
- Closely liaise with clients to design and develop innovative solutions using advanced analytical techniques to solve specific business problems
- Design and deliver reporting and other analytical solutions as per clients requirements in the insurance pricing, actuarial and reserving domain, for various international markets
- Responsible for quality of one's own work and team's deliverables
- Ensure high quality standards and timely delivery in all projects. Mitigate associated risks by effective project planning and progress tracking
- Proactive client/customer engagement and management
- Keep up with cutting edge analytics techniques and tools in the continuously evolving area of decision science
Knowledge and Skills :
- Proven track record of designing and delivering analytics solutions - in Insurance and/or FS industries
- High degree of proficiency in SAS (R, Python - good to have) and database management skills (SQL programming)
- Very good interpersonal skills, able to influence without authority, adaptable to changes and possess initiative and creative approaches
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
- Understanding of actuarial industry and related topics
- Experience in insurance pricing analytics (preferred)
- Proficient in R, Python and visualisation skills and tools such as Qlik, PowerBI etc. (preferred)
Competencies Required :
- Strong project and key stakeholder management experience, preferably in a commercial environment
- Proven ability to work as an individual contributor as well as manage a team
